Sick

It has been a long time since I blogged.

It has been a long time since we've been healthy.

One of the joys of a large family, it seems, is the way we pass along our sick germs. Family member 1 gets sicks, subtly passes it to 2, who passes it lovingly and full of snotty wet kisses to number 3, who coughs it into the face of 4, who in turn sticks their germie finger into the nose of 5, who "just to be funny" rubs their pink-eye crusted tissues on the face of number 6, and then number 1, who has just recovered and is alllllmost ready to go back to school, wrestles with number 6 and doesn't (of course) wash their hands.

And round, and round, and round we go...

So here I am, dog tired but awake since 3:45am AGAIN with this annoying cough, and going on Day 7 of a terrible cold/pink eye combination.

This morning, I decided to get out of bed and do something. Perhaps writing will make me tired enough to fall back asleep.

By then, however, the baby will be wide awake and ready to roll.

Sickness, please please PLEASE show the love this Valentine's week, and GO AWAY.
